What if oenologists and noses spoke the same language? With olfactive feelings in mind, Mireille Delpeuch, from Ginsestet, was determined to create three perfumes. - le Boise, Sauvignonne and Botrytis - developing in two years three specific fragrances reminiscent of the flavors of wine. Le Boise recalls the scent of oak barrels. The story of the most masculine of the three perfumes starts in wine cellars to be reinterpreted for skin. As for the feminine flavors, inspiration comes from the white wine side. Dry for Sauvignonne, with its fresh scent and light color, liquorous for Botrytis, with it's color as gold as honey. The making of the latter, the exact copy of Sauternes, was easy " honey , candied fruit, apricot, white flowers, quince, an obvious transposition. More difficult for Sauvignonne: the chromatographic balance set by the Bordeaux Oenology Faculty was transposed into an eau d' toilette, then completed by (Paris perfumer) Tolendano. Each one of these unique fragrances is a work of art in it's own right. Fragrances, when experienced, that are sure to become part of your personal collection of favorites.
